Design
Through AR, animal life that would naturally inhabit these climates is allowed to “appear” within the real environment. This merging of realities brings ecosystems to life in a way that’s both educational and fun, without interrupting the Climatron’s physical space.
01
Model Details
AR binoculars allow the user to see and interact with an overlay of information on top of the environment around them, using location detection and real-world POIs. This model's PTZ capabilities and tiered height make it adaptable and accessible.
02
UI Components
Clear screen components allow info to be read quickly, drawing on fonts and colors from the garden's existing branding.
03
User Journey
The visitor interacts with the binoculars while immersed within the Climatron's existing context, allowing them to learn more about the role of animals in the environments.
04
In Context
The binoculars are placed alongside the walking path of the Climatron and are supported by mentions on existing signage.
05
Interaction Interface
The proposed interface's viewpoint responds to what the user is looking at and uses this method of interaction to guide them through the flow of information.
